Equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) improve creative thinking, problem solving, psychological wellbeing, and intellectual engagement (Woolley et al. 2010, Nielsen et al. 2017). We are committed to EDI, and we actively promote it in all aspects of our work. Our lab is a safe and supportive space for all people. We celebrate diversity of race, colour, place of origin, religion, ability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, family history of higher education, and marital/family status. We acknowledge our privilege as we work to promote EDI in our own group and STEM more generally.
